I'm often been asked the same questions in regards to my photography. So i thought i'll write it down here.

1. When did you pick up photography?

I used my dad's film camera when i was a kid, then i bought my first compact digital camera in 2003. However i only got serious in photography in early 2006, that's when i decided to buy my first digital SLR.

2. Have you taken any photography course or training?

No. I've learned by self experimenting and read photography books/magazines. I'm also thankful that i have a great mentor who gave me a lot of tips / advices.

3. What inspire you on your works?

The works of a better photographer ofcouse. Movies and magazines are also my biggest inspiration.

4. What is a good picture?

A good picture is impactful, unforgettable and touches your heart.

5. What kind of photography do you enjoy?

Fashion, commercial, editorial & travel. Though i also enjoy journalism photography.

6. Where do you see yourself going in this career?
To work as a photographer in a top fashion magazine company.

7. What camera do you use and why?

Olympus E510. It's an affordable mid range DSLR which produces great quality picture. I personally do not think one needs a good/top range camera to take good picture.

8. What advices do you have for a beginner?

Do not buy expensive camera. You'll learn/improve more with a low range camera. Learn the basics of photography by reading books. And ofcourse, shoot more.
